Where is service? Have they disappear?
Where is service?
Everywhere I go, I seemed to notice that service is deteriorating and life gets too complicated.
Like when I stumble into 7-11 store for my coffee, I get snubbed by this serving person who listens to his MP3 and act dunno. Wtf. I left without buying and skip over to McDonald hoping for a fast service. I finally got my coffee and apple pie after like 10 mins. That is suppose to be ok considering I was in an aircon restaurant and everyone queue with starry eyed waiting for their coffee.
Like when I went to collect my free movie tickets. Aiyoh, the queue is like 100 ppl and I dun mind cos the tickets were free. However, I did mind the ppl who queued up. They were distributing rubbish everywhere cos they were bored from queueing. Euw- do they do this at home? The serving person also got time to chat away with her colleagues while we all geram standing there like fools. Maybe if I fart or burp, they will all pengsan..But then, maybe I get no service also.
Like when I went to a superdepartmental store to buy non-stick frying pan. Ok. The product may not be on special but I need to get a pan. The serving person was so condescending (maybe I need to wear a descent long sleeve shirt and matching pants to attract descent attention). He said “ Why buy this pan when no special? Wait for another week lah..” I had to lie and said “Hey yah. I need to buy one emergency for a birthday gift ler.” Then after much cajoling me to buy a blender (which I dun want cos I already have one sitting on the bench collecting dust), he finally led me to the counter to pay and package my pan. When I got home, @#@## it was not the large non-stick frying pan that I indicated to the sales person but a smaller one meant for making omelettes. Euuuw big time. So I returned to the store, yep u guess it. I had to queue up for a refund and then get the big non-stick frying pan from another Japanese store..Aiyahhh, what a pain in the neck…
Have you experienced such gastric-induced dramas from customer sales ppl or front desk? Maybe we should all outsourced to countries that do so well in customer service than getting our own ppl to serve us. I am thinking of picking up French or Italian language to get better customer service. Parlez vous indeed…
Round and round we go through the maze of life.....
